Ethylene oxide is widely used in medical equipment industry to replace steam in the sterilization. But if they are not fully released, they may pose a hazard in surgery. Huafeng's co-extrusion film well solves the problem. When adopted in medical equipment's packaging, our co-extrusion film and dialyzing paper will be heat sealed after thermoforming and equipment being put into the bag. The design not only provides a good barrier to dusts and microorganism, it also helps ethylene oxide being fully released from bag. Besides that, after sterilization, the peel strength of our products is maintained between 1-2N. Meanwhile, when unpacking the equipment, there is no paper scraps generated, allowing for a clean operating room. b. Kelun industry Group is the largest IV fluid manufacturer in China. It produces diverse curatives. Some of them, such as fatty acid, will be no more available for treatment if the packaging materials' oxygen transmission rate is higher than 1%. Meanwhile, a special requirement is delivered for medical products' packaging: its packaging should adopt a see-through design for turbidity and spoiling particles. Therefore, instead of aluminum foils and other opaque packaging materials, Huafeng adopts a self-developed manufacturing technology to laminate PVOH co-extrusion film with three-layer co-extrusion film (PA/EVOH/PA). The technology helps to make its oxygen transmission rate under 0.6, and to ensure chemical stability and long shelf life of medical products.
